Meet the Owner:
Micah Reinhardt is a born and raised, true Montana man. A faith-based family man, Micah has been married for 22 years to his wife, Aimee, and has raised 4 sons. Those sons have helped him in his business at young ages, and are learning about responsible entrepreneurship from their Dad. Raised right here in Yellowstone county, Micah learned the importance of hard work from his father, Wil, who was a local electrician. Micah would accompany his dad on jobs and on projects around the house. His Dad was always working on something; making furniture, remodeling rooms in the house, fixing broken things, or just puttering around in the garage. Micah learned how to fix and do things himself, and was also turned on to the construction industry in general. In high school, Micah worked with the Billings Career Center to build a home and other projects. Working with his hands just made sense to him. After high school, Micah worked for Eagle Hardware/Lowe’s, and then made the decision to try sheet metal at the encouragement of his family and his own interests. Micah worked hard throughout his training program, starting as an Apprentice and working his way to a Journeyman. He learned how the industry works, and worked on numerous big commercial projects in the area such as Faith Chapel, Cabelas, Kohls, MetraPark, hospitals, restaurants, power plants, colleges, and banks. In the spring of 2020, Micah decided it was time for him to venture out on his own, bringing with him the knowledge of his 20+ years in the industry. He started small, with an office at home, and his garage as his shop. Slowly, he started accumulating more tools, more machines, and more customers. The decision was made to move to his own shop, where he is now, and he hasn’t looked back since! Micah Reinhardt of MR Heating and Cooling HVAC Contractor of Laurel, MT looks forward to meeting you and helping you with any and all of your HVAC needs!
HVAC SYSTEM ESTIMATES:
SYSTEM ESTIMATES:
If you’re looking to replace your existing HVAC system, it doesn’t cost anything for MR Heating and Cooling HVAC Contractor in Laurel MT, to come out to your house or building and give a quote on a new system. The only thing we request in return is that all decision-making parties be there for the appointment. Although we will leave more details on the estimate for replacing your HVAC system, it can be difficult for one-half of the decision-making party to relay this large amount of information to everyone else making the decision.
Air Conditioning & Heating Repair:
If your AC or heating system is not working properly, we will send a well-qualified technician over to find out what is going on with the system. The $180 charge doesn’t go towards the cost of the repair, however. That is what it costs for us to drive a fully stocked service truck with a licensed, insured professional anywhere in our 60 mile radius for you to find out what is wrong with the HVAC system at your house or building.
Air Conditioning or Furnace Tune-up:
If your system is working fine, but you’d like to have routine preventive maintenance done on it, call us out for an AC tune-up or a Furnace Tune-up. The $149 first time (or $200 every time thereafter) goes towards the cost of driving a fully-stocked service truck with a licensed, insured professional anywhere in our 60 mile radius. Then we go through either the cooling side or the heating side of your system with a fine-tooth comb and our checklist.
We will also clean that AC or Furnace while we are there. Some of the more hard to get parts of the system that need to be cleaned can incur extra costs. These items can include, but are not limited to: blower assembly, evaporator coil, and some secondary heat exchangers.
MINI-SPLIT REPAIR:
Mini-split ductless system repairs are hit and miss with us. MR Heating and Cooling HVAC Contractor in Laurel, MT is a Bryant Dealer, so Carrier/Bryant are the brand we prefer to work on. Due to the nature of some of the mini-splits systems and the online availability for anyone to purchase and install them themselves, we have historically declined the opportunity to service them. We have had many mini-splits in the past that did not get installed correctly, leaving its installation with some less than professional work. We tend to decline to work on these, so we don’t attach ourselves to those situations. However, some people purchase their systems, install it, and then want us to come out and finish the refrigerant side of the job. We will come out and finish but we will not warranty any part of the equipment. We charge a base price of $1000.00 plus any additional material and labor after 3 hours.
HVAC SYSTEM INSPECTION:
Many homes are bought and sold everyday in the Laurel, MT and surrounding areas. Rarely do those homebuyers (and Sellers!) know how the HVAC system of that house is really performing. A home inspector can only go so far into the inspection of the HVAC system.
Home inspectors are great, but they don’t take the service panels off to inspect inside of them. They typically will look for a good temperature split and other significant damage to the system. MR Heating and Cooling HVAC Contractor in Laurel, MT goes all the way into the system and evaluates the system’s cooling and heating sides. These are similar to our tune-ups, but we don’t clean the system while we are there. We simply get to work determining what’s going right with your system and what’s not working so well on your system
